Tuna Tartare

From Chef, Omar Gonzalez, “Chef Chango”. Owner of “Serenata Fusion Grill/ La Gran Dama Amarilla” in Humacao.

Ingredients:

  • Fish egg.
  • 8oz. sushi-grade tuna fillet
  • 1 Tbs. salt
  • 1 1/2 Tbs. soy sauce, preferably reduced sodium
  • Garlic powder
  • 1 boiled egg
  • Asian sesame oil
  • Fresh chives, each about 1 1/2 inches long.

Procedure:
Boil the egg for approx. 7 minutes, let it rest and then peel it off. In a bowl, mix all the ingredients together (except the egg). Bon Appetite!
